Add Recurring Charges to Reservations on Departure Date

Stay allows users to add auto recurring charges on the departure date of reservations.

Contact Agilysys to enable the feature for the property. This enhancement is not applicable to same-day reservations.

This enhancement is applicable only when users add auto recurring charges to reservations from the following screens:

• Book a Reservation ➜ Estimated Charges ➜ Add Recurring Charges

• Reservation ➜ Estimated Charges ➜ Add Recurring Charge

Users cannot add recurring charges to reservations on the departure date from the Choose Add-On pop-up screen.

The frequency option, Day of departure, in the Frequency column of the Add a Charge pop-up screen appears when users add an auto recurring charge to reservations from the mentioned screens. An information icon added next to this option displays the following message when hovered upon: Posted date on the folio will be the departure date.

When users select this option and add a charge, a record for the auto recurring charge is created in the Estimated Charges section of the reservation for the departure date and the charge is posted to the reservation folio after the completion of date roll one day prior to the departure date. For example, when a recurring charge is added on the departure date to a reservation with stay dates from Jan 1, 2024 to Jan 5, 2024, the charge will be posted to the folio for the date Jan 4, 2024 after the completion of date roll.
